FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How often is Route Service performed and how is it billed?
A: With our route service, we visit your area once a week following a set schedule. If your yard needs mowing when we arrive, we’ll take care of it then. You’ll be billed after each service. If your yard doesn’t need mowing, we’ll skip it and check again the next week. You can also request extra services anytime—everything is offered a la carte.
Q: What is the difference between Route Service and Route Premium?
A: Route Premium is billed monthly, with the cost evenly spread over the year. It includes 35 scheduled visits annually. If you need more or fewer visits—or decide to cancel—we’ll adjust your bill based on the number of services you actually receive. For example, if you pay for 35 visits but only use 32, you’ll get a refund for the price of 3 visits.
Q: What is the difference between Route Service and As-Needed?
A: “As needed” means you contact us whenever your lawn needs mowing—by call, email, or text—and we’ll schedule it for that same week. You’ll be billed after each service, and you can pay by cash, check, Zelle, or Venmo.
Q: What type of payment methods do you take?
A: We accept cash, check, money order, Zelle and Venmo. We discourage credit card payments because of the high fees charged by the banks and merchant processors. We expect to recieve payment within 5 business days of each service unless other arrangements are agreed upon.
Q: What is "overgrown" and how much does it cost?
A: Grass taller than 7 inches is considered overgrown. Mowing overgrown grass takes more time and can damage our equipment, so these cuts are billed at twice the normal rate. If the grass is too tall for our equipment to handle, we won’t be able to mow it. As a courtesy, we’ll waive the extra charge once for grass up to 8 inches tall.
Q: What is "dog pickup" service?
A: If there is dog waste in the yard when we arrive, we’ll clean it up before mowing and add a small charge for the extra time. We encourage homeowners to pick up beforehand to avoid this fee.
Q: What is "yard pickup" service?
A: If there are items in your yard such as excess trash, toys, lawn furnture, pool floats, etc. that need to be moved or picked up we’ll add a small charge for the extra time. We encourage homeowners to pick up and clean up beforehand to avoid this fee.
